Indonesia's National Health Insurance (NHI) has been instrumental in the substantial expansion of universal health coverage (UHC). In the context of the Indonesian NHI program, socioeconomic stratification led to diverse levels of comprehension regarding NHI concepts and procedures among different population segments, thereby increasing the chance of disparities in healthcare access. Poor people in Indonesia, represented by a weighted sample of 18,514 individuals, constituted the study population. NHI membership was the focus of the study's dependent variable. Observations demonstrate a tendency for NHI membership to be more prevalent among the impoverished demographic that exhibits higher education, urban dwelling, age greater than 17, marital status, and wealth. The likelihood of becoming an NHI member increases among the poor who have higher levels of education, as opposed to those with lower educational attainments. Their NHI membership was correlated with several variables, which included their home, their age, their sex, their career, their relationship status, and their financial status. Primary education, in the context of poverty, is associated with a 1454-fold increase in the likelihood of becoming an NHI member, in contrast to those without any formal education (Adjusted Odds Ratio 1454; 95% Confidence Interval 1331-1588). Understanding the groupings and relationships between physical activity (PA) and sedentary behavior (SB) is crucial for creating effective lifestyle programs for young people. A systematic review (Prospero CRD42018094826) aimed to identify patterns of physical activity and sedentary behaviour clustering and their associated factors within the population of boys and girls aged 0 to 19 years. Five electronic databases formed the scope of the search. Using the authors' descriptions as a guide, two independent reviewers extracted cluster characteristics. Any disagreements were settled by a third reviewer. Seventeen studies involved participants with ages varying between six and eighteen years. In the study of mixed-sex samples, nine cluster types were discovered, along with twelve for boys and ten for girls. Clusters of girls demonstrated a pattern of low physical activity and low social behavior, as well as low physical activity levels and high social behavior levels. Conversely, the majority of male clusters displayed high physical activity and high social behavior, and high physical activity and low social behavior. Sociodemographic details demonstrated a paucity of associations with all the identified clusters. The examined associations consistently revealed higher BMI and obesity rates in boys and girls belonging to High PA High SB clusters. In contrast to the other clusters, those assigned to the High PA Low SB groupings presented with lower BMI, waist circumference, and a reduced frequency of overweight and obesity. In Beijing, China, researchers conducted a retrospective study at a university-affiliated, comprehensive tertiary hospital. For the purpose of this study, individuals with complete medical and pharmaceutical records were included if they had undergone at least one Medication Therapy Management (MTM) intervention between May 2019 and February 2020. Pharmaceutical care, adhering to American Pharmacists Association's MTM standards, was provided to patients by pharmacists, encompassing the identification of patient-perceived medication needs, categorized by type and quantity, the discovery of medication-related problems (MRPs), and the subsequent development of medication-related action plans (MAPs). Pharmacists' documentation included all MRPs they discovered, pharmaceutical interventions implemented, and resolution recommendations, along with calculations of treatment drug cost reductions possible for patients.
In an outpatient context, MTMs were administered to 112 patients; 81 of these patients, having complete records, constituted the study population. Five or more diseases were present in 679% of the patients, with 83% of these patients also concurrently taking over five medications. While conducting Medication Therapy Management (MTM) on 128 individuals, their perceived medication needs were recorded. Subsequently, nursing homes are adapting to become personalized, home-style facilities focused on the individual. The challenges and changes facing nursing homes call for an interprofessional learning culture, but the factors that promote this culture remain poorly understood and unexplored. This scoping review's methodology targets the identification of those facilitators, focusing on the mechanisms that foster this outcome.
In accordance with the JBI Manual for Evidence Synthesis (2020), a scoping review was systematically undertaken. Seven international databases—PubMed, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, Medline, Embase, PsycINFO, and Web of Science—served as the basis for the search, which occurred during 2020 and 2021. Two researchers, working separately, documented reported elements that encourage interprofessional learning environments in nursing homes.
